Sarah Parish, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

I'm Sarah, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I've spent the last 20-plus years working in the medical field and have seen first-hand how health and wellness impacts our lives. 

I started my career in healthcare in the Texas Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Texas Children's Hospital, where I cared for some of the sickest and most critically-ill patients imaginable. Patients were flown in from all over the world to receive our top-notch care; it was a very humbling experience. 

During my career, I also found myself working as a nurse in home health management, research, and finally my all-time favorite: Labor and Delivery, at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. I spent nearly a decade delivering care to women, many who had very high-risk pregnancies. The thrill of bringing new life into this world never got old. 

After saying for many years that I would never go back to school, I took a big bite of my very own words and did just that. I am a proud graduate of the Family Nurse Practitioner program of The University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston. Being a Nurse Practitioner allows me to pair my many years of nursing experience and wisdom with additional education to provide exceptional care for my patients. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, exercising, and spoiling our Goldendoodles, Millie and Oakley.

I am Onilda M. Garcia, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of diverse clinical and leadership experience. My background includes Labor & Delivery, private duty nursing, perioperative care, and trauma services at a Level I Trauma Center. Throughout my career, I have served in roles ranging from bedside nurse to Charge Nurse, Board Runner, and now Senior Director of Surgical Services, where I oversee complex surgical operations, multidisciplinary teams, and quality initiatives.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington, following my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M International University.

Outside of work, I’m a proud wife and mother of three—Belanie, Alex, and Max—and dog mom to our 10-year-old Pomeranian, Jordy. I enjoy working out, spending time with family, and supporting my kids in their extracurricular activities, whether I’m at the baseball field or cheering at ballet and jazz recitals.

My passion lies in helping individuals achieve lasting results in weight management and overall wellness. I take a holistic approach—focusing on medical care, lifestyle, nutrition, and patient education—so individuals feel supported, empowered, and aligned with their goals. Hi, I’m Kati. I am your first stop whether you are calling, texting or emailing the clinic. I'm looking forward to connect with you and am genuinely excited to walk with you on your wellness journey, leading to a happier, healthier you! I love making connections with our clients and enjoy coming to work on a daily basis.  

I am blessed to have spent the last several years being a Stay at Home Mom to my 3 kiddos.  Now that they’re grown and out of the house, I have found myself returning to my passion in healthcare. Prior to that I worked as a medical assistant and office administration in both a clinical and hospital setting. Although I worked primarily in general practice, I also have experience in med/surg, pediatrics, dermatology and orthopedics. I especially love wellness and all the things that come along with it.  

In my downtime, I stay active in community service, including serving as the founder and Executive Director of Texas HOPE, which supports low- to mid-income families with everyday needs. Our programs range from helping with essential bills and providing furniture to families starting over, to offering mobility equipment through our Medical Assistance Program. Our largest initiative—the Texas HOPE Giving Tree—provides Christmas gifts to more than 800 children each year in the Alvin area.
