Botox is an injectable known as a neuromodulator and contains a purified version of a neurotoxin, known as Botulinum toxin type A. It works by weakening or freezing certain muslces that contribute to wrinkling. 

Most patients begin to gradually notice the effects in a few days with full effects in 7-14 days. Typically, the effects will last for 3-4 months. Some people, especially those who excercise often and those with high metabolism, may notice the effects wear off a bit sooner. 

Once our Nurse Practitioner learns which areas you would like to have treated, she will take a careful consideration of your face and will suggest treatment based on your concerns. Injections are precisely placed and most appointments last anywhere from 20-30 minutes. Although not completely pain free, it is very tolerable, and most patients rank the pain at a "2" on a 0-10 pain scale,
